Dr. Heaney is a native of Shillington, and is no stranger to Berks County.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Science at Alvernia College, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and her Doctor of Optometry degrees from  the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia.  Dr. Heaney provides primary eye care to patients of all ages. She is Nationally Board Certified to diagnose and treat ocular diseases.  Dr. Heaney enjoys prescribing contact lenses and welcomes challenging cases requiring complex lens materials and designs. She also cares for patients who have had refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, etc.).

Dr. Heaney is a member of the medical staff at St. Joseph Medical Center.

She is a VISION USA™ eye doctor, providing eye care services to those in our community in need who have been screened and referred for care by the Salvation Army. Committed to community service, Dr. Heaney is an active member of the Shillington Lions Club and St. Vincent de Paul Society.  Dr. Heaney is available to speak to local civic organizations on a variety of eye care topics.
